A close up view of the Yaquina Head Lighthouse on a cliff overlooking the coast of Oregon with a crashing wave. This lighthouse is the tallest in the state of Oregon, and also one of the most popular in the United States. It is 93 feet tall and is 162 feet above sea level, and was built in 1873.
I am a full-time freelance photographer based out of Los Angeles, specializing in landscapes and nature. I am also the staff photographer at the Los Angeles Zoo and my photography can be seen regularly published in the Zoo Magazine, website and various other marketing materials. With a background in animal behavior and marine biology from UCLA, I had always envisioned myself as a Professor teaching and conducting research, but instead I opted to take a leap of faith and pursue my passion for photography. I am so happy, glad, and proud that it has become a reality.
