We loved the T- shirt but needed the print for a cover for my husbands prosthetic leg. He was in an awful accident a year and lost a leg as a result. He is a Beatle Fanatic and we had to put them on his new leg. Thanks for the awesome art and it was the perfect size.

Big Chico Creek originates on Colby Mountain, located in Tehama County, California. The creek flows 46 miles and empties into the Sacramento River in Butte County. The creek's elevation ranges from 120 feet above sea level at the Sacramento River to 6,000 feet at Colby Mountain.
This portion of the creek flows through Bidwell Park in the town of Chico in Northern California. It is a great place to walk.

In my earlier bio I tried to describe a little about who I am and what I like to photograph. I debated whether any further information was necessary to describe me. Giving it more thought I suppose it is important to tell more of my story. In March 2008 I was diagnosed with acute myelogenous leukemia. Shortly before that I hemorrhaged in my eyes causing small blind spots in both. I spent a good part of that year in and out of the hospital receiving treatments. Today I am in remission and doing well. I still have blind spots that cause some difficulty in seeing. I have heard it said that going through something like that makes you see life a little differently. Although I had a pretty good outlook about life, I do see things...

Very nice capture, James!! I grew up playing in Bidwell Park, both the lower park where this was taken and the upper park where you have to be a bit of a goat to get around. I've even seen salmon running up this creek in the winter -- but there are far more pike and bass than any other fish. This creek also runs through a Scout camp farther up in the mountains -- and there are nice trout to be caught on fly there in the very cold mountain waters! You've taken me on a trip back to my childhood and college years... thanks!!! :) F/V
